Introduction to E-MARK certification E-MARK, that is, the European common market, requires that the automobile, locomotive and its safety spare parts products, noise and exhaust gas, etc. comply with the certification requirements through products in accordance with the provisions of EU laws and regulations of the European Economic Commission, that is, the certificate of conformity is granted to ensure the safety of driving and the requirements of environmental protection. E-MARK is granted with different numbers according to different certification countries. For example, if Luxembourg applies, its E-MARK mark is e13/e13.

The testing agency must be a technical service agency in EU Member States, and the license issuing agency is the transportation department of the government of EU Member States. All EU Member States will recognize the products that have obtained E-MARK certification. Like the E-MARK certification, the certificates of each member state have corresponding numbers:

Application process

1. The manufacturer prepares technical data and samples;

2. Conduct tests;

3. Factory inspection is required for the first application; (manufacturers who have obtained ISO9000 and other quality system certificates issued by EU national certification bodies do not need to conduct factory inspection in principle);

4. Submit test report and manufacturer's technical data for approval;

5. Certificate issued by the transportation department of European countries (the issuing authority may conduct regular or irregular follow-up factory inspection on the manufacturer of certified products).
