RoHS regulation is a mandatory standard formulated by EU legislation. Its full name is the restriction of hazardous substances. The standard has been officially implemented since July 1st, 2006. It is mainly used to regulate the material and process standards of electronic and electrical products, making it more conducive to human health and environmental protection.

RoHS regulations, like REACH regulations, are regulations that control chemical substances, collectively referred to as environmental protection regulations. The difference is that reach regulations have a wider range of control than RoHS regulations

RoHS directive covers the electronic and electrical products listed in the catalogue below AC1000V and DC1500, and the specific products are as follows:

1) Large household appliances: refrigerators, washing machines, microwave ovens, air conditioners, etc;

2) Small household appliances: vacuum cleaners, electric irons, hair dryers, ovens, clocks, etc;

3) It and communication instruments: computers, fax machines, telephones, mobile phones, etc;

4) Civilian devices: Radio, television, video recorder, musical instrument, etc;

5) Lighting appliances: fluorescent lamps other than household lighting, lighting control devices;

6) Electric tools: electric drills, lathes, welding, spray, etc. (except for large industrial tools to be installed);

7) Toys / entertainment, sports equipment: electric vehicles, video game machines;

8) Vending machine.

Preparation of ROHS testing and certification data

1) . only heavy metal detection: about 5-10g for solid and 5-10ml for liquid;

2) . only brominated flame retardants are tested: about 10-20g for solids and 10-20ml for liquids;

3) Detection of heavy metal and organic pollutants: provide about 20-30g samples;

4) . other organic pollutants detection: provide about 30g samples;

5) Only the samples of the coating (coating) parts are tested, and the approximate weight of the material parts of the coating (coating) should be indicated; If the weight of the coating (coating) part cannot meet the requirements of the sample delivery volume, the coating (coating) raw materials shall be provided.
